Mad Cow Run

The Mad Cow Run (Madison County) will take place on Aug 7. It's a 5k event that raised $3,000. for CAP, Community Action Programs, in 2009. Sponsered by "In Your Pace" running club we're pleased that they will be doing this again.

Their site is www.capmadco.org , and resident Dick Benner, on behalf of the IYP Club, requested Nelson Board to approve this year's event. We did at the Feb board meeting. In addition to the run/walk down Nelson Rd to Putnam, to Rt 20, East back to the town hall finish line, a raffle and awards are also part of the program.
